The Nike Shox NZ EU maintained a strong following for the Nike Shox fans who are looking for another iteration of one of their most coveted models. Helping new and old users by adding arch support, the sports-inspired apparel also provides adequate comfort and cushioning attributed to the four-column Nike Shox system at the heel. Function and performance aside, the sneaker is also fashionable to be sported in a suitable number of outfit combinations with its unique and stylish silhouette.

Fit & Sizing

The Shox-installed shoes have a perforated vamp overlay with a Gilly lacing system for breathability and to secure the right amount of snug. Its collar and tongue are also padded for a cozy feel when putting on. One point to be taken into consideration regarding shoe sizing is that the sneaker's leather upper tends to run narrow for some wearers, which also depends on the width of their feet.

The shoe was manufactured with a D medium width and is available for both men and women. Women's sizes range from 5 to 10 while men are from 6 to 12.

Nike Shox NZ EU Style

The sneaker is mostly seen in gyms as its structure is adequate for workouts and cross-training sessions. Sporting the shoe with yoga pants and leggings is appropriate for women while sweatpants are for men. The impact protection and shock can also be utilized for running thus shorts, and running wear would also suffice.

Health-centered lifestyles do not only revolve around the image of the sneaker but a fashion sense as well. The trainers can be combined with pants and casual wear in everyday routines including work.

Notable Features

Aesthetically, the Nike Shox NZ's basically look the same in one glance. Diving further into its details, the Nike Shox NZ EU is constructed of a one-piece fitted synthetic leather upper as compared to the Shox NZ which has a textile and leather combination.

Nike Shox NZ EU History

According to avid shoe collector and Guinness World Record Holder Jordan Geller, the Nike Shox technology originated from a patent in 1985, a couple of years before the Nike Air became visible in their designs. The owner of 2,500 shoes also mentioned that the mid-80s layout for the responsive tech was conceptualized as an element that is inside the midsole.

Subsequent years later, an unnamed prototype model was produced including an extended hollow sole with four shock pillars sandwiched inside the folded flap. Nike, involving Bruce Kilgore, utilized its Air Skylon runner and assembled the new technology to its midsole. Though the shoe was created, it never got released to the public until several years later.

The year 2000 saw the first public display of the Nike Shox technology in the form of the Nike Shox R4 where the "R" stands for "running." A simultaneous model was created for basketball namely the Nike Shox BB4. The two were the first generation of silhouettes that were fused with the columned innovation. They were followed by other advanced designs that specifically cater different activities like the Nike Shox XT which stands for "cross-training."

The breakthrough's fame was accounted for by the basketball dunk superstar, Vince Carter. During the 2000 Olympic Games, Carter jumped over 7'2" French Center Frederic Weis and dunked the ball. It was a spectacular feat that resonated unto basketball future generations as one of the spectacular dunks of all time, thus, coining Carter as "Vinsanity."

Basically the same Nike Shox NZ that became very popular, the Shox NZ EU is a European release of practically a replica of the worldwide-released model.
